Q1. Why is inpatient treatment necessary?
In addiction rehabilitation, inpatient or residential treatment is the most comprehensive form of treatment as it allows clients to fully focus on their recovery without the stressors and distractions of everyday life. Residential treatment offers various specialised therapeutic interventions and alternative therapies that are essential and beneficial for recovery. Moreover, clients receive round-the-clock care from qualified professionals which is particularly critical during the initial phase of recovery.
Q2. How long is your treatment program?
Our primary treatment program is a minimum 8 weeks long followed by a minimum 4 weeks of aftercare. However, the length will vary according to the time it takes for detoxification, the client’s history with addiction, severity of addiction, and the presence of co-existing medical, mental or behavioural health conditions. Details will be discussed during admission.
Q3. What does the treatment program involve?
The treatment program at ARC is based on the globally recognized 12-Step Program, in a holistic manner. Through a combination of group counseling, one-on-one counseling and specialized therapeutic interventions, clients learn trust, gain personal strength and acquire the tools to successfully manage their addiction. Our treatment program is intensive and each day is structured, and we incorporate the following therapies:
